Have a very Etsy Christmas…

I’m a Christmas junky, and proud of it! I’ve been pouring over the magical Christmas kingdom of Etsyland this morning, and I want to share my findings! (Someone really should confiscate my computer) I’m blown away by all the Christmas goodness out there…

I just adore this crocheted-star garland from Namolio

Who can resist a vintage stamp with their name on it for stamping gift cards? Not me…so I ordered it from ISpyVintage

These mini branch pencil crayons by INKKIT are just flat-out COOL.

If I had my act together, I’d wrap gifts in kraft paper and ribbon with these exquisite gift tags by Indelible Impressions

I’m a sucker for anything blue and turquoise and vintage and glass and Christmas ball, like these mercury glass ornaments from Bohemian Lil.

what's your fancy…

I really feel like having a fun sale! Something with a twist. So this is the first time–in the vast history of Nicole Jane Home–that I’m taking a poll to see what the people want on sale!!!

Photographer: Janis Nicolay for Nicole Jane Home

Check out the Nicole Jane Home website and then let me know what tickles your fancy. Any wedding presents? Baby showers? Birthdays? Father’s Day? Tell me what you want and I’ll see what can be done! The small print: excludes Reisenthel, Sophie Conran, Crazy Daisy.

If you choose “other”, please leave me a comment here so I know what items you’re interested in. I aim to please!!

last minute panic…

Yes, I admit it, I’m smug and annoying! I finished 99.7% of my Christmas shopping two weeks ago, and I’m not above rubbing it in. I attribute it to the magical internet that allows exhausted mothers and fathers to lie in bed at night and do all their shopping đŸ™‚ Now you know why I don’t have a social life.

Unlike me, my husband hasn’t even started his shopping…hmmmm. So, being the fabulous wife that I am (not even exagerating), I have written up a tiny little list of items that I’d like under the tree. It just so happens that I wrote the list while I was visiting one of my suppliers’ show rooms. So here is a taste of some of the “last-minute” gifts my poor hubby can search for on Christmas Eve. (Psst…don’t tell him I’m going to be adding them to my product lineup! A big part of the joy of the season for me is watching him panic!)

These are the greatest little salt & pepper grinders. You can put all sorts of peppers and salts in them. I tested them in the show room and they work very well.

This is a stainless steel counter top composting pail. It comes with a charcoal filter to eliminate odors.

This is a funky little martini shaker. The lid has a built-in measuring cup and strainer for the perfect cocktail.

These are very cool onion goggles. I have it on good authority that Martha Stewart featured them on one of her shows and she and a guest were wearing them. I wonder if they’d work on the ski hill???

"Can I help you?"…

If I had a bricks-and-mortar store, I’d have a big smile (I’d serve wine and chocolate, and I’d play Christmas music all the time) and welcome you with, “Can I help you with anything?” I hope my customers get a sense of that when they shop online at Nicole Jane Home, ’cause it’s how I truly feel.

I just sent this newsletter to Nicole Jane Home‘s newsletter subscribers.I REALLY appreciate them, so I run regular specials and contests just for them! If you would like to be included on the list, let me know.
