chocolat ooh la la…

Easter in Paris looks très delicious at Patrick Roger‘s chocolate boutique. I came across this amazing chocolatier in a fantastic blog called The Paris Kitchen, definitely worth your time to take a look. This just confirms my theory that I am actually a displaced Parisienne, who should return to her make-believe homeland immédiatement!

  1. One of my brothers lives in Europe and there are times he will call home and talk about the delicious chocolates that he has had. Perhaps if I beg my parents (who went to Eurpoe for Easter) might bring back something for those of us who live back home.
    These look so amazing.

  2. Oh I would weigh a ton. I couldn’t be in that store or a pastry store or even Fannie May candies here in the Midwest.

  4. I try to be good and not eat too much sweets.
My mother has been to my house and says that my husband and I have an abscene amount of chocolate bars. We bake a lot but we usually end up giving our treats to others.
But one of the the things I asked my doctor when I was diagnosed with DVT some time ago and was put on blood thinners was if I could still have my chocolate (there is a need for just a smidge everyday) and she said it was fine. I was concerned because I really had to watch one of my other favorite foods–spinach (I know weird).

I agree with David–I love your blog.

  5. I am off coumadin (not good effects on my body). I watch what I eat and well I indulge on spinach and chocolate. I still watch the amount of vitamin K I intake but at least I can have it.
